Schools and Visits – Week Commencing – 14th September 2015

This week we have been rather busy, as we had our first school visit our new premises. Castle Church Primary who came all the way from Stafford to see us on Tuesday. Some of their comments were “I’ve been teaching 20 years and its the best RE trip I’ve ever been on. Visited other temples and Mosques before but today was much more interesting and our host had a wealth of experience and knowledge” – Jo Cranwell.

In addition to visits to the centre, our staff have been out at schools leading different workshops and assemblies. We visited Chancel Primary to lead an Islamic Assembly and Mapperely CE Primary to lead Block printing and Menhdi workshops.

Derby Grammar school also visited the nottingham synagogue.
